Laura Rahn is a certified Family Travel Coach and the founder of Seldom A Dull Moment, where she helps busy families, couples, and empty nesters dream, design, and depart on meaningful vacations. A retired educator with 33 years of experience, Laura brings her background in instructional coaching and her passion for family connection to every trip she helps plan.

An accredited coach through the Travel Coach Network and an affiliate luxury travel advisor with Boutique Travel Advisors, Laura specializes in creating travel experiences that foster connection, curiosity, and lasting memories—whether it’s a national park road trip, a luxury resort stay, or a multi-generational adventure. She is also the author of two family travel planning guides, Dream, Design, Depart and Design That Dream Vacation, which help families get every member involved in the vacation planning process.

Laura has been featured in The Hotel Guide, Today’s Parent, and multiple parenting and travel podcasts, sharing her expertise on family and multi-generational travel. When she’s not coaching, Laura is traveling with her husband and their two adult daughters, proving that family vacations don’t end when the kids grow up—they just get better.
